This has been an extremely busy year! The boys are growing up faster than ever now and are at a fun age that we wish they would stay at forever. I know this is hard to see but click on it and you should be able to see their sweet muddy faces. I got a new camera and had to try it out asap! Me and the boys were outside (as usual) and they found a huge mud puddle so I thought it would make for some great pictures to show just how "boy" my boys truly are. They had fun splashing arounf in the mud and I had fun seeing the pure joy on their faces. I really like my new camera and hopefully they won't get too tired of me following them around taking pictures all the time!

Baseball season has begun....

Baseball season is definatly our favorite time of year. This year all 3 boys are playing, which needless to say, causes some fun but hecktick times around our house. They are all 3 on different teams in different age groups so we go from pre- t ball, to t-ball, to machine pitch. All the boys LOVE to play and we are so thankful because we LOVE to go watch them play. I know we are making great memories and I have loved getting to watch my little boys grow up on the ball field.

Today is mine and Aaron's 9 year anniversary!! YAY!!!

I can't help but have a smile on my face today because God has blessed me with a wonderful husband that I am soooo very thankful for. He not only makes me a better person, but he is loving, a very hard worker, funny, and one incredible father to our three boys.

I look back at our wedding pictures from 9 years ago today and laugh a little. What a crazy day! First becasue it was sort of a "rush " thing, not many people other than our families knew we were getting married, our wedding was in one of Aaron's cousins house, the reception was at my parents house, our "honeymoon" was in Tyler, and I think my dad said our whole wedding cost about $600! That's pretty good considering most wedding dresses cost more than that!! But the funniest thing is how much we have changed...for better and for worst, right? Well change is going to happen, but it can be a good thing as long as you are doing it together becasue so many people now days give up and think that is the easy way out. But not us, our marriage is more than a wedding ceremony, it's a covenant between me, Aaron, and God! So I embrace this time in our lives and cherish each moment Aaron and I have together because God gave him to me to love from this day forward...

Our Snow Days

It was so pretty and the boys had a blast.

Other than the fact that since we don't have the usual

Skateland USA

The boys were invited to a b-day party a few weeks ago @ Skateland USA. This place has been in j'ville forever, and everything looks exactly the same from when I was a little girl and would go there. Seriously, those skates are from at least the 70's!!

Keller's been to several parties there and is quite the skater, but Garrett and Tanner have never skated before and are a very different story!

Ok so I did a HORRIBLE job of taking pics this Christmas!! The only place I actually took pics was at the Brooks Family Christmas, on Christmas Eve. Tanner was very into when we were gonna open presents, the older boys know the rules and that you have to wait till everyone has eaten and then we go in order from youngest to oldest! But it is so much fun! I actually like it that way instead of everyone opening at the same time, since i have 3 kids I'm trying to watch and make sure I know what is theirs and what isn't, and who it came from!

so Tanner decided to not only wear the Santa hat, but he put on the stockings as well.

this is Keller, Christmas of '03, at his point he was still the only grandchild, and yes most of those presents were HIS! just thought it was too cute to pass up!

Thanksginving 2009

This year we went to Jasper for Thanksgiving. It was so good to get to see everyone. The whole family was there, except my hubs. He had to work that afternoon, but not to worry, he went hunting that morning and then went to his grandma's for Thanksgiving with his side of the family. We did miss him, but had a great time getting all the cousins together...it had definately been a while.

The Big Orange Tractor

So this past friday, November 13th, was my little Keller man's Birthday!! Can't believe that he is 8!!! WOW, where did the past 8 years go....holy cow! It's been an incredible 8 years and i can't wait to see what the next 8 years have in store for us....except that by then he will be DRIVING....( this is where i shed a tear and SCREAM!!)

So when it's your bday, if we get out the door in time, you get the donut of your choice. And he picked his favorite...chocaloate with sprinkles (just like his mom!)

And you get chocolate milk too...i'm sure his teacher was very appreciative that i pumped him full of sugar before sending him to school!!

And because you have a very cool mom...she brings Batman cupcakes for your class to enjoy

First Day Of School....Aug 24, 2009

Ok so I'm EXTREMELY far behind on posting this, but oh well! Here goes the first day of school for the Brooks boys...Keller 2nd grade, Garrett Pre-k, and Tanner preschool 3. Garrett look a little nervous, Keller says "here we go again!", and Tanner thinks "what's the big deal?"

Keller's Baseball Post Summer 2009

Obviously this post is for my little Keller man! We had a GREAT baseball season and i just wanted to share a few (haha) pics with you! This summer has been full of excitement. We played baseball ALL summer long, (and now started playing fall ball), went to Sea world, went swimming ALOT, hosted a couple of baby showers, had birthday parties, friends had babies, & found out that Matt & Amber are expecting (YEAH!) So to sum it all up...it was FABULOUS! So here are a couple of pics to recap all the fun...

Sea World Vacation

My friend Robin is preggo with her 2nd baby boy, Tennyson Walker Sunday, and instead of the traditional baby shower, we went and had pedicures and ate at Potpourri house in Tyler.
It was so wonderful to just set there and relax and then to eat somewhere that my husband would NEVER think of stepping foot into....because they have "fancy stuff", not the usualy fried steaks smothered in 3 inches of gravy!

Special Birthday Moment

This past weekend was crazy for sure. First we had Tanner's birthday part,
then Daddy Jim's, and Keller was playing in a baseball tournament! ( which they got 2nd; this was their first game to lose all season) But this was a special day for me in Jasper celebrating Daddy Jim's 80th b-day!! His birthday is the day before Tanner's
and since it was so windy at Tanner's party, he didn't get to blow out his own candles,
so Daddy Jim letTanner help him the very next day!!
Such a special moment seeing them both make a wish!!

Last Day of 1st Grade

I can't believe my baby will be in 2nd grade this next school year! This one went by way too fast. I have to give a shout out to his teacher Mrs. Blackmon!! She is a WONDERFUL teacher and friend to us. She has put up with Keller for 2 years now because she had him in pre-k too. He was so excited to have her this year and wanted to know if she would go to 2nd grade with him. How we both wish she would!! I will miss dropping him off at Rusk Primary, but I know he had 3 great years there and made tons of memories.

We Love BASEBALL!!

We LOVE this time of year for lots of reasons...mostly BASEBALL!!

Two of the three boys play and although it gets crazy at times, we love it! Garrett is in Pre t -ball and Keller moved up to machine pitch this year. Aaron and our friend Troy coach Garrett's team, THE GREEN MACHINE! And he helps coach Keller's team, the YANKEES! Garrett has one more game this weekend, but Keller still has a while to play because they get to go to the playoffs. So if you want to see us just come to the ball field. I'm the one chasing a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old around, trying to watch Keller play, going to the concession stand 100 times, or trying to stop one of the boys from peeing in front of everyone even though we are outside!! And I usually leave looking like I've rolled down the big dirt hill WITH my kids, but I know these days won't last forever, so I cherish everytime we get to go see our little boys play!

We love rodeo time; with three boys how could you not? We went to the bull bash in Lufkin a few weeks ago and of course we had to get all dressed up for that. Actually this is how they dress most of the time. Garrett won't wear anything but his cowboy boots or mud boots; even with shorts! And Tanner is seen wearing his red hat most of the time; he even tries to take it to school. And as for the redneck part, you just have to meet their daddy! They LOVE hog hunting. I actually go with them some and it's not so bad. Me and the boys usually hang out on the 4 wheeler and Keller gets to go with Aaron to "catch" the hog!

Our Easter weekend started out Saturday evening at Mamaw & Papaw's house

So Aaron decided it was time for a campout. It started outside, but ended up in my new house! But I guess that's why we built it; for our children to grow up in and make lots of good memories with their family and friends. All went well, only a little wrestling, lots of laughs, and of course my favorite part.... SMORES!
